Sylfirm® RF microneedling is an FDA-approved procedure. It’s the world’s first dual-wave (continuous wave and pulsed wave) radiofrequency microneedling device to treat a wide range of skin conditions.
As the Sylfirm® device is moved across the treatment areas, it delivers dual-wave radiofrequency energy deep within the dermal layers while creating micro-channels on the skin’s surface. The process of RF microneedling starts with a consultation where you will see one of our specialists at Renew MD Facial Aesthetics med spa. We will evaluate your unique dermatological requirements and goals to create a personalized plan for you.
The treatment will take place at our Southlake med spa. We will use a medical-grade numbing lotion on the treatment site to ensure you have a comfortable experience.
RF microneedling uses radiofrequency microneedling, serums, and peptides to rejuvenate the skin. At Renew MD Facial Aesthetics, we use a state-of-the-art Sylfirm® device that performs the minimally-invasive RF microneedling procedure to create small pricks on your skin. The RF pulses are then directed deep into your dermis, which stimulates the dermal tissues to tighten.
Once the microneedling is complete, we apply a specially-formulated treatment serum followed by a cooling peptide mask. Together, these techniques stimulate the natural collagen in your face. Collagen is a protein that is essential to make your skin smooth and voluminous. As the production of collagen increases in your skin, you will notice a reduction in wrinkles and lines.
Once the RF microneedling is complete, you can opt for two add-on treatments if you’d like.
The first is the triple-peptide glide boost serum, which has been formulated using the amino acids Syndermin and Adiponin. This is a gel-like serum that provides the nutritional building block necessary for healthy and supple skin.
The second is the Soothe Mask, which uses a special cooling fluid with various enriched CD99 (Binterin) peptides. These peptides enrich your skin with the essential nutrients needed for deep rejuvenation.
RF microneedling has very little downtime. On the day of your treatment, it is recommended that you stay out of the sun and only apply to products provided to you at the end of your treatment. Your skin can look pinkish red for a few days, but you are welcome to go about your normal skincare routine 24 hours after treatment.
