What is Aerolase?

The procedure

At the initial consultation, our expert staff reviews your medical and medication history while evaluating the extent of acne scars. Once she determines your candidacy for Aerolase or SkinPen™, she explains the procedure and outcome in detail. In most cases, the treatment is administered in the same session. During the procedure, our staff may use a topical anesthetic to enhance your comfort while using protective shields to cover the eyes in the case of Aerolase. The laser applicator of the Aerolase device or the SkinPen™ device is then passed over the skin in a controlled manner.
