Exfoliate, Extract, and Hydrate with a HydraFacial

Does your skin look dull and tired? Do you feel patches of roughness when you run your hand across your face? If the answer is “yes”, these are signs that your skin is in dire need of hydration. The HydraFacial is designed to help enrich your skin with healing ingredients and restore it to its natural pH balance.

At Renew MD Facial Aesthetics, Dr. Alexis Gordon, M.D., F.A.C.S. oversees all our providers that perform HydraFacials in Southlake, Texas. Visit us for effective treatments.

What is HydraFacial?

HydraFacial is a procedure designed to free your skin from dirt and debris and help it feel hydrated and healthy. The procedure leverages the power of state-of-the-art Vortex skincare technology and specially-formulated peels and growth factors. These enrich your skin with essential nutrients that heal any damage at the cellular level.

The HydraFacial is helpful because it restores your skin to its natural, youthful health and radiance. Completely non-invasive and pain-free, you’ll leave our med spa feeling refreshed and completely transformed.

How can HydraFacial help you?

HydraFacial uses a combination of peels and serums that contain important minerals, vitamins, and acids, which rejuvenate the skin. After the treatment, you’ll have:

  • Smooth and soft skin
  • Radiant skin for days
  • Fuller skin with fewer visible wrinkles & lines
  • Reduced appearance of pigmentation & dark circles
  • Hydrated skin, with clean pores and fewer toxins that leads to less-frequent acne outbreaks
  • Even skin tone
  • Higher elasticity in the skin

The best thing about our HydraFacials in Southlake is that they can be customized to address your unique dermatological requirements. At Renew MD Facial Aesthetics, Dr. Gordon will evaluate your skin’s health and design a HydraFacial treatment plan that helps you achieve your unique cosmetic needs.

The HydraFacial MD treatment

At our Southlake med spa, we specialize in the HydraFacial MD –HydraFacial Microdermabrasion- procedure, which is designed to invigorate and revitalize your skin.

Unlike traditional microdermabrasion treatments, where dry ingredients are used to exfoliate your skin, the HydraFacial MD uses liquid or gel-like ingredients to offer clear and supple skin. This is a six-step process that uses the patented Vortex technology that is designed to transport the HydraFacial serums deep into your skin, without leaving behind any scarring.

Want to make your HydraFacial a little more special?

Book a Platinum HydraFacial. It has all the perks and benefits of our Signature HydraFacial, but we add in blue/red light therapy to help combat inflammation, skin irritation, and kill acne causing bacteria. In addition to the light therapy, we also add a customizable treatment booster that is infused to the treatment. The boosters are selected by our providers based on your skin’s needs and concerns. These extra boosters can help prolong the treatment results and give your skin an extra boost of vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants and detoxifiers it needs to leave your skin feeling completely renewed.

HydraFacial steps

Phase 1: Vortex Exfoliation
We start the treatment in-clinic. Our staff will gently cleanse your skin and remove dead cells and impurities that coat the surface of the skin.

Phase 2: Vortex Peel
This stage is like a second cleansing, where we use a mixture of salicylic acid and glycolic acid to deep-clean the pores. This combination of serums reduces the likelihood of acne outbreaks.

Phase 3: Vortex Extraction
Here, we use the Vortex’s suction technology to loosen and suction out the debris lodged deep in your skin, allowing your skin to breathe.

Phase 4: Vortex Boost
Once your skin is ready to receive the growth factors and healing ingredients, we deliver the solutions through the Vortex applicator, gently massaging them into your skin. These solutions reduce wrinkles, plump-up the skin, and hydrate it.

Phase 5: Vortex Fusion
Next, we strengthen your skin and enrich it further by massaging in special antioxidants, peptides, and acids. We also infuse hyaluronic acid, which heals dermal cells and stimulates the production of healthy skin cells.

Phase 6: Extend & Protect
We end the HydraFacial MD treatment with moisturization and sunscreen application. This locks in all the nutrients that have been absorbed by your skin, allowing them to work on your skin and heal it.
